Top 5 Tattoo Mistakes
By Chess McDoogle

A tattoo is for life and you should definitely avoid all the most obvious and common tattoo mistakes people make. These are often life long regrets that can be a hassle to try and cover up or get rid of.

Here are the top 5 tattoo mistakes:

1. Cheap ink. Using cheap ink, like India ink, results in a messy, sloppy, design that after a few years resembles more like a bad skin condition rather than an actual tattoo. Yes they are cheap to do, but it's no discount for the amount of regret you'll face in the future.

2. Face Tattoos. May sound like a unique, original, daring and exciting thing to do in the moment, but the consequences to face tattoos are huge. You are automatically unemployable for the most part, unless you work in a tattoo parlor. If you are rich, live in the woods, or don't care about this then it might not be a problem. But for the most part face tattoos are too much for society, and the pressure may be the resulting statistic that face ink wearers have a high rate of suicide.

3. Drunk. It's a common tattoo mistake for people to do. Have a few to many and go get inked up. Unfortunately the resulting cartoon character on your forearm usually ends being a huge regret. Have more respect for the art of tattooing and choose your design wisely, not stupidly.

4. Too Small. You would think it would be the opposite. People getting "too big" tattoo designs. But actually one of the greatest mistakes is making the design way too small. This can look very ridiculous on guys, tiny tattoos on big arms and so forth. And women have this regret all the time as well.

5. Not Researching Your Design. What this refers to are the people who want a tattoo, then go into the parlor look on the wall for 5 minutes and almost randomly choose something. Whoa! Hold on a minute! This is big time grounds for major regret to come. Think about what you want then look at all thats available. With easy access to tattoo galleries online now days, there's really no excuse not to take the time and browse at your leisure to find the most ideal design available.
